You can - Pick it up directly from the shop - Have it shipped to you from our shop - Have it delivered by a staff member Picking up your purchase it easy. Just come in, and there you go! Shipping is just as easy, but more costly. On occasion, though, we do have a “delivery circuit”. If several orders are made at the same time and are in the same general area, we are happy to load up the bikes or trikes in the trailer and hand-deliver them! This enables us to bring our customer-centered service to those who don’t have the great fortune of living in the greater American Fork metropolitan area. We’re not the Postal Service, meaning we don’t have a regular route. However, it’s worth checking with us at the time of purchase to see if a delivery is possible! If you come to the shop to pick up your bike or trike, we'll do final adjustments at that time. If you want it delivered, we'll pre-setup your bike or trike based on your x-seam, weight, desired seat angle, etc., then we'll do final adjustments when we deliver it to you. If you are out of the region or prefer to have your fully assembled bike or trike shipped to you, we'll pre-setup your bike or trike paying careful attention to your measurements. When you take it out of the box, all you'll need to do is inflate the tires to full pressure, hop on and ride! Shipping fully assembled bikes or trikes is not cheap, but we'll share in the shipping costs with you. We'll ship a fully assembled bike or trike to Zones 2, 3 or Zone 4, but only if you provide all the needed measurements so your bike or trike can be pre-setup for you. At the time of check-out in our webstore, it will list your order as "Local Pickup" if you have ordered a bike or trike. Due to the size of assembled bikes and trikes, they must be shipped freight instead of UPS. We will contact you when we get your order, so we can verify that you get exactly what you want. At this time, we will draw your attention to this page again, and refer you to the shipping prices listed here.
GETTING YOUR BIKE OR TRIKE
Purchasing a bike or trike is not like purchasing a pair of jeans. It’s a serious investment, and so should be handled right. Recumbent Cycles of Utah believes that your new recumbent bike or tadpole trike needs to be set up and fitted to you so you experience optimal comfort and fun.
